How can I stop my 3yr. old, housebroken Min Pin from peeing all over our house and at other people's houses?
I have never had a problem until recently when he begin lifting his leg and peeing on everything. We have a 9yr. old Lab, but he doesn't ever pee in the house?
You need patience and a lot of time. If you catch MP peeing all over the house, put the pet in the spot they're suppose to be going in. If it's a dog, bring it outside, if it's a cat, put it in a litter box. DO NOT scream/yell or hit them! IT DOES NOT HELP! They don't understand why your upset and it therefore does not teach them. Sometimes them peeing is a territorial thing. They may be feeling territorial if there are any other pets around where they are. If you are going to someone else's house and you know they have pets, refrain from bringing your pet, for he/she may be intimidated. It can be scary for your little Min Pin!
