how do i wear a studded belt? (to the side or front?)?

so i got a black and white checkered studded belt and im a girl. the buckle part has no studs and is just plain black. so im not sure whether to wear the buckle to the front or side. if i wear it in the front, i wont be able to see the studs, but im not sure if only guys wear it to the side (i havent seen any girls do that)
what do u think would look best on a girl?

Although YOU won't be able to see the studs, that's how most of them are made. Anyone to the side or behind you will be able to see them, so no worries wearing it normal ;]
