Why is it dangerous to wear jewelry in a piercing horn healed?
I earlobe piercings that made a breakthrough 8g about 2 months ago. They are not yet fully healed, although they are pretty good. I changed the jewelry plugs made of metal from horn, and someone told me it was a bad idea. However, they could not offer an explanation as to why. SO - Is it safe to bring the horn in a new piercing? Why? Should I worry?
Horn / Bone / Wood / Arcylic are all the materials forUS and should not be worn during the healing process. Surgical Steel and Glass / Titanium are what you wear during recovery. Moreover, Horn is an organic material, it will not be the right size, and can not be sterilized properly, so not healthy for the healing process.
