Does anyone know of an artist that does handcarved rosewood canes?
I want to find an artist that can carve a cane idea I have. In terms of the size of the cane I want it to be the standard 36" cane. As for the cane itself I want the whole thing to be rosewood, the handle included, and I would like the handle too be a crook-shaped. As far as ornamentation of the cane, I would like the length of the cane shaft to have roses sculpted out of the wood along the top 2 feet of the shaft and have sculptures of the flower's vines going down the remaining length of the shaft. On the handle I would like an owl to be carved at the base of where the crook starts, surrounded by roses, and then have their vines running the length of the crook.
