help me with my college list?

My reaches: Barnard, Davidson

Matches: Pitzer, University of Michigan, Mount Holyoke College

Safeties: Univ. of Texas, Univ. of Texas - Dallas, SMU

but i have a few schools im unsure...idk if i should apply:
USC, Univ. of North Carolina- chapel hill, Wellesley, and Rutgers, and Claremont Mckenna

Wellesley, claremont mckenna, and USC are probably reaches for me...should i bother to apply?
i can prob. get into rutgers...but i've heard bad things about it.
and UNC...i heard its impossible to get into if youre out of state...is that true?

should i just forget about these schools and just stick to the ones im sure about?

Yes, You should apply to your reaches. 3 or 4 are usually good and you have a chance to get into at least 1.

UNC is very, very difficult to get in out of state. (even instate) But it's probably as difficult as Michigan in terms of out-of-state admissions

Usually you should apply to 7-10 schools.

You can mix these up anyway you like just don't have more than 4 in a category. Good Luck.
