Why are the bill collectors still calling?
I lost my job in January, and in early May, I was finally able to get employment. My mother co-signed my student loans, so when I fell behind, they started calling the house all the time. I was able to pay the fee and get my loans put in forbearance, but the bill collectors are still calling. Why?
That happened to me once, and they were hunting me all over at all times on the day and even nights!!, mail, email phone etc.. even after I had paid for everything i owed! until I got really upset and started writing letters back to them with proof of payments and when they called I would read the confirmation numbers to them and ask them to REMOVE my phone number from the calling list and stop calling me if not I would take further action. And there finally I got rid of all that now they would just sent an email or two every month but i don't even bother to open it... Good Luck!
