How do I put on a swimming cap?
I have bobbed hair and I'm trying to use a rubber Speedo swimming cap, but I'm having serious trouble getting it on. Can anyone tell me if there's a proper way to put one on?
1. Abandon the rubber cap. The silicone cap costs more, but is much more durable, easier to use, and is much gentler on the hair and causes fewer headaches.
2. The easiest way to put on a swim cap is this (I know this sounds like I'm being facetious, but it really IS the way coaches teach their youngest swimmers to put on their own caps!): Turn the cap inside out. Fill the cap with pool water, grabbing the cap by its sides. Put the lowest dip of the filled cap so that it touches the crown of your head. Pull the sides of the cap down and over your ears. You not only get your cap on with minimal effort, you get the "getting wet" part over with!
